At Mountain View Farm Nursery, we believe every garden tells a story — and we’re honored to be part of yours. What began as a few extra pepper and basil seedlings has blossomed into a small but mighty nursery rooted in passion, purpose, and community.

We specialize in homegrown seedlings that are nurtured with care right here on our property. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just beginning to dig in the dirt, we’re here to help you grow with confidence.

This year, we’re excited to take the first steps toward offering native plants to support local ecosystems and pollinators. While we’re still in the early stages, our hope is to become your go-to source for both classic garden favorites and environmentally beneficial native species.

Our Stand &
Retail Nursery

Self-Service Community Sharing Stand

Our self-service community sharing stand is open daily May through October from 8:00am until 8:00pm. This is separate from our retail plant nursery.

We occasionally offer fresh produce from our garden when it's in season and ready to harvest—but availability is limited and varies week to week. All freshly harvested items are free to our community. If the stand is stocked, help yourself! It's first-come, first-served, and we appreciate your support of our homegrown extras. Be sure to check out our Facebook business page to see what's available each week.

In May we offer a limited, select variety of veggie plants—however, we do encourage our customers to take advantage of pre-ordering in January to get the exact plants they need. We also offer annual flowers and a limited assortment of hanging baskets for those in need of some fresh, Spring color.

Seasonal, fresh-cut flowers and bouquets are offered primarily Fridays through Sundays, typically starting in July, and will vary week to week. We will announce what is available on our Facebook page.

The Native Plant and perennial portion is still growing--pun intended--so we have limited, select varieties available, while others continue to mature. We are planning our new retail space so stay tuned over the summer for further announcements.

At Mountain View Farm Nursery, we're on a mission to bring the wonders of nature to your doorstep. What began as a simple love for growing vegetables and herbs has grown into a deeper commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and ecological stewardship.

We specialize in veggie plants, herbs, houseplants, and now, native plants to Pennsylvania. Every plant we offer is started from seed or propagated from healthy, thriving stock grown right here on our property.

As passionate horticultural stewards, we care deeply about our environment, supporting the natural food web, and protecting pollinators. Our journey is rooted in respect for the land, and we're continually learning how to grow in ways that are not only beautiful and bountiful, but beneficial to the world around us.
